ABOUT WORKING WELLNESS

Create a virtual wellness program for your remote employees to keep them healthy, focused, and connected!
Companies are integrating wellness activities into their day to day strategy and overall corporate culture. Happy and healthy employees have proven to result in better productivity, lower healthcare costs, and less turnover.
Now more than ever, wellness programs must provide opportunities for employees at home. We work with human resources departments and insurance companies to deliver virtual yoga, pilates, meditation, and nutrition classes as a team building exercise or part of a corporate wellness plan.
Long periods of sitting in front of a computer can affect the well-being of employees. This, in addition to the stress of our current environment, makes wellness classes an ideal option for employees. Our virtual classes are designed to counter the effects of sitting for an extended period of time and incorporate breathing techniques that relieve stress. In addition, a virtual yoga, pilates, meditation, or nutrition class is a constructive way for employees to feel connected to their company and colleagues without being physically present.
Working Wellness Virtual Yoga is a creative way to provide employees with an option to feel relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated together.

WORKING WELLNESS MEDITATION

Schedule a time out for your team where they will practice focusing their mind and training their attention with our experienced mindfulness facilitators. Our meditation instructors teach a variety of classes and we will work with you to determine the appropriate class or program to meet your meditation goals.
Guided Mindfulness - Offering foundational mindfulness practices through guided meditation.
Anchor Practice - This introductory guided meditation introduces the basics of mindfulness practice and offers students the opportunity to develop individualized anchors for attention including focusing on sounds, the body, and the breath.
Home Practice How To's - Developing a mindfulness practice is a lot easier when it feels comfortable. It helps to have some instruction around the kinds of options for postures (while sitting, standing, or lying down) that can make practice more sustainable. This class offers guidance for posture possibilities so that students can explore what works best for them.
Formal vs. Informal Practices - As students become more comfortable with their meditation practice, they may start to notice feeling more present and focused (or mindful!) in daily life. This class defines the difference between formal practice (time dedicated to meditation on purpose) and informal practice (practicing mindfulness on-the-go) and how these two ways of practicing support each other.
Body Scan Meditation - This meditation offers instruction on an essential component of mindfulness practice. Access deep relaxation through this guided body scan. Turning our attention to the body as an anchor can assist us in reducing mind wandering while also aiding us in releasing muscle tension.
Stress Reduction Practice - A common belief about meditation is that the experience itself is relaxing. While a lot of the time this is true, it is also true that much of the time our minds or bodies are working with some kind of stress and the experience can be challenging. This class helps students work with difficult emotions and physical sensations in such a way that this practice can not only transform the meditation experience, but life outside of it as well.
Mindful Self-Compassion Practice - The inner critic can be really loud sometimes, and while a little bit of critical self-judgment can help steer us in a more productive direction, too much of it can get in the way of our feelings of competency and our effectiveness. Researchers studying Mindful Self Compassion practices have shown that they increase motivation, boost self-worth, and foster resilience.

Yoga has always been a light in Erin Kras' life. Full of self-expression, possibility and opportunities for growth, Erin was drawn to yoga at the young age of 16. She was hooked by the physicality of the practice which strengthened into a full mind-body experience well into her twenties. Erin was naturally called to deepen her practice and completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Verge Yoga Center in 2015. In 2016, Erin went on to complete an 8-Week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course at Thomas Jefferson University, using meditation to heal her own anxiety and recover from a running injury. Since then, Erin started a Corporate Wellness Program teaching daily meditation to Real Estate Agents in Philadelphia and has been teaching Vinyasa Flow classes on the Main Line ever since. Erin's goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for self exploration. Allegra Dotson began taking yoga classes regularly in 2016 when a back injury prevented her from doing many other forms of exercise. She played lacrosse at Drexel University and was used to the rigorous work outs of a college athlete. A skeptic in the beginning, she began to fall in love with yoga after realizing it can in fact be an extremely challenging and versatile workout. She found that yoga offered a complete workout encompassing flexibility, balance, and strength, as well as helping with her chronic back injury. Allegra completed her yoga teacher training in 2018. She began teaching yoga in the winter of 2020. Since then, she has received her certificate in meditation as well. Allegra is a special education teacher who specialized in working with students with emotional and behavioral needs. After Jen Mihok took her first Pilates class many years ago, she immediately recognized this method of physical movement was something special. The movements were extremely precise and calculated, and the more classes she took, the better she felt. Jen knew she wanted to bring this feeling to as many others as she could. Since 2017, Jen has been teaching the classical method of pilates, and has received her full comprehensive certification including Mat Pilates through all equipment: Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrel. She is also a member of the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA). Jen takes pride in being as educational as possible, teaching students why they are doing certain movements and how it affects their bodies. She enjoys matching her students to whichever style, apparatus, and learning method works best for their physical needs. Jen enjoys seeing students improve week after week in their flexibility, body awareness, connection to the breath, and hearing the benefits that have come with these improvements. Hearing how Pilates has positively affected so many of her clients’ bodies and minds is Jen’s true motivation, and exactly why she became a teacher. She is so excited to bring her enthusiasm for the power of Pilates to Working Wellness.
As the daughter of a Pilates instructor, Kelly Bergh grew up in the studio setting but began her own fitness journey in college. After discovering how naturally breath-to-motion exercise came to her in her first power yoga class, she began to practice daily and quickly learned that the coping mechanisms she learned on her mat helped her navigate life off it, too. Kelly completed her yoga teacher training with Allison Sobel in 2018 and continued her education with a meditation teacher training in 2019. Since then, she has taught yoga to Main Line adults and children both in the studio and out in the community. Her alignment-based style of teaching features thoughtful sequencing that feels like play and can be easily modified to any practitioner’s ability level.
Amanda Ferraioli began her yoga journey in her first year as a 2nd grade teacher. After her first class, she was immediately inspired to make yoga a part of her daily life. Fourteen years and three children later, yoga remains a crucial tool for her inside and outside the classroom. In 2018, Amanda completed her yoga training and began teaching immediately. Since then, Amanda has also taken prenatal yoga training and led a mindfulness summer camp for children ages 7-12 for three consecutive years.
